The package includes training and professional supervision of fieldwork experience. Obtaining the QASP-S® credential itself is subject to meeting all QABA® requirements, including the academic qualification, fieldwork experience, the supervisor’s recommendation, application requirements, and passing the exam
QABA currently allows up to 50% of supervision hours to be Group Supervision, while each supervision period must include synchronous contact, and the requirements include individual contact, in person or by video, for at least one hour
Important note: 8 hours of supervision training ≠ supervision hours on fieldwork experience

Your questions, answered
Does completing the program give me the QASP-S credential directly?
No. When you complete the program, you receive a certificate of completion documenting the training hours you’ve completed. The professional QASP-S® credential is awarded exclusively by QABA® after meeting the eligibility requirements, completing the required fieldwork experience and supervision, submitting the necessary documents, and passing the exam.
How many training hours does the program include?
The program includes 180 hours of approved ABA training + 8 training hours in professional supervision skills, in line with QABA requirements.
What’s the difference between the 8 hours of supervision training and professional supervision hours?
The 8 hours are educational content about the practice of supervision and are part of the coursework. Professional supervision, on the other hand, is actual oversight of your practice during fieldwork experience, and neither requirement replaces the other
Can I choose how I study?
Yes. You can choose between the Guided Path and the Flexible Progression Path. Both include the same content, hours, assessments, and completion standards; the difference is the pace of progress and how follow-up works
What are the fieldwork experience requirements?
The pathway requires 1,000 hours of supervised fieldwork, including a minimum of 600 hours in supervision or program development tasks, and up to 400 hours can be direct 1:1 care
Are QABA® and exam fees included in the program price?
No, unless clearly stated otherwise. Application and exam fees and any direct fees for QABA® are paid to the awarding body and are not part of ABA4Change’s fees.
What are the admission requirements for the program?
You can join the program if you hold a bachelor’s degree, or are in the final stage of your university studies in line with ABA4Change’s admission policy, and are able to follow the content and core professional terminology in English, while committing to the assignments, assessments, and learning and supervision requirements
Is professional supervision included in the package?
Yes, the package includes the required supervision of fieldwork experience at 5% of its hours (up to about 50 documented hours), provided that you deliver services that qualify to be counted, attend the supervision sessions, and submit the required records and forms on time.

Are the QABA board application or exam fees included?
No, the package price does not include credential application fees, exam or re-exam fees, or any fees paid directly to the QABA board, unless clearly stated otherwise.
How long does the program journey take?
The time needed to complete the pathway varies depending on the learning format you choose and how quickly you complete your fieldwork experience.
On the Guided Path, you progress according to a structured study plan with suggested dates, while the Flexible Progression Path gives you more freedom to set your study pace based on your experience and commitments.
Follow-up within the package continues until you complete 188 training hours, 1,000 hours of fieldwork experience, and the related professional supervision requirements, according to the program plan.
The time needed to complete the 1,000 hours varies from one trainee to another, depending on the number of practice hours they can complete each week; that’s why the package isn’t tied to a single time frame for everyone.

Are there payment or installment options?
Yes. We offer flexible payment options to make it easier to start your career path; you can pay in full or choose a 3-installment plan starting with 30% at registration, then paying the remaining amount in two installments over the following two months.
