Not everything that looks like stubbornness… is stubbornness

A live, interactive program for parents to understand ADHD

Why did we design this program?

Because raising a child with ADHD doesn’t call for more blame or generic advice; it calls for understanding what lies behind the behavior and knowing what you can do in everyday situations.

During the program, you’ll learn how your child thinks, why they may find it hard to pay attention, wait, regulate their emotions, and finish tasks, and how you can respond in a calmer, more effective way

We won’t hand you a list of perfect instructions that are hard to follow. We’ll help you choose realistic strategies that suit your child, your family, and your daily routine.

Register Now How does the program work?

Two live, interactive sessions

  • 21 days of guided practice at home
  • A final follow-up session

Not just a program, but a journey of change

I understand my child more deeply → I change how I respond → I apply and follow through

Step by step, you’ll move from feeling puzzled by the behavior to understanding its causes and choosing practical responses that suit your child and your daily life

Understanding is the beginning, but real change happens when what you’ve learned becomes part of your everyday life.

This journey has 3 stages

Understand the behavior

You’ll learn how ADHD affects attention, impulsivity, emotional regulation, and the ability to start and finish tasks.
The goal is to start seeing what lies behind the behavior instead of immediately reading it as stubbornness or lack of cooperation

Change your response

Learn practical steps for handling repeated instructions, homework, impulsivity, tantrums, and situations that easily turn into conflict.
The goal isn’t to be stricter, but to make your response clearer, calmer, and more effective.

Apply and follow through

After the sessions, the real practice begins. You’ll receive a guide that helps you try small steps at home, notice what works for your child, and record what worked and what needs adjusting.
Then we meet in a follow-up session to discuss your experience and the next steps

Do you feel the simplest parts of your day have become a battle? Homework, getting ready for school, turning off screens, tidying up, or even getting ready for bed… simple things that can end in tension and raised voices every day.

And at the end of the day, you and your child are both exhausted, and you may ask yourself:
“Why don’t the approaches that work with other children work with mine? Am I handling this the wrong way?”

Does this sound like your life?

This program is designed for you if you…

Repeat instructions with no result

You feel you’re saying the same thing over and over, then the situation turns into tension or shouting, and you don’t understand why something that seems simple is so hard for your child to do.

Feel the simplest parts of your day have become a battle

Homework, school, screens, or bedtime are draining you both, and at the end of the day you may wonder whether you’re handling things the right way.

Want to understand your child instead of blaming them, or yourself

You’re looking for a way to understand what lies behind their behavior, support them calmly, and build a relationship with less conflict and more understanding and cooperation.

If you see yourself in any of these situations, you don’t need more generic advice; you need a different understanding of what’s happening, and steps you can apply in your real life

What do you get?

By the end of the program, you’ll have a clearer picture of your child and a practical plan you know how to continue

You’ll understand more deeply how ADHD affects your child’s attention, impulsivity, emotions, and daily routine, and you’ll learn how to tell apart what needs support, what needs clear limits, and what simply needs a different approach.

The journey doesn’t end when the sessions do. You’ll leave with clear steps you can apply at home, tools that help you track what works for your child and what needs adjusting, and ways to handle everyday situations with more confidence and calm.

Content

What does the program include?

The goal isn’t for every day to be perfect, but for you to have greater understanding, more options, and less confusion about your child’s behavior.

01 Understand your child before trying to change their behavior Session one

A 50-minute live, interactive session that helps you understand:

  • What is ADHD? A simple explanation without complicated terminology.
  • How can ADHD affect attention, impulsivity, and the regulation of behavior and emotions?
  • Why might your child know what’s expected of them and still find it hard to do?
  • How do the way we give instructions, the way we structure the day, and our own reactions affect a child’s cooperation and calm?
  • How can you observe your child’s behavior without blaming them… or yourself?

The goal of the first session isn’t to give you quick fixes, but to help you understand what you’re seeing before you decide how to handle it

02 Realistic steps for a day with less conflict Session two

A 50-minute live session where we review your experiences and questions, and practice:

  • How to give clearer, shorter instructions so your child is more likely to hear you and get started
  • How to organize routines and transitions such as getting ready for school, homework, screens, and bedtime.
  • How to reduce escalation during anger or outbursts instead of letting the situation turn into a long conflict
  • How to use reinforcement in a way that helps your child repeat the desired behavior without relying on rewards all the time
  • How to help your child start a task and keep going when they feel bored or distracted.
  • How to communicate with the school more clearly and collaboratively about what really helps your child
  • How to choose one step that suits your child and your family’s circumstances and start with it right away

We won’t try to change everything at once; we’ll choose what you can actually apply at home and start from there

03The 21-Day Journey: From Understanding to Practice Practice journey

Because knowledge alone doesn’t change daily life.
After the live sessions, a 21-day practice journey begins, in which we try small, realistic steps together that help you understand your child, adjust your response, and discover what truly works for your family.

Each day… just one step

A very short video + a simple activity + a quick observation + follow-up and encouragement

Week one: I understand and observe

You start observing everyday situations in a different way: When does distraction happen? What comes before a conflict? And what really helps your child?

Week two: I try new responses

You apply simple steps for instructions, routines, transitions, reinforcement, and handling difficult situations.

Week three: I choose what works for our family

We review what worked and what didn’t, and start building tools and routines you can keep using after the program ends.

The goal isn’t to change your child in 21 days; the goal is for the journey to end with you understanding your child better and having tools you know when and how to use.

04 Reviewing the journey and discussing next steps Final session

What will you receive during the journey?

  • A short, direct daily video
  • One tip you can apply the same day
  • A small challenge or experiment at home
  • Simple questions that help you notice what’s happening
  • Follow-up and encouragement within the journey group
  • A weekly review of what worked and what needs adjusting
  • A final session to discuss your experience and the next steps

A private group for the 21-day journey
A safe space for sharing, follow-up, and daily encouragement with other parents

You won’t be on this journey alone

You’ll practice alongside a group of parents facing similar challenges, with follow-up and guidance that help you keep going, even on hard days.

21 days of small steps… for greater understanding and calmer days.

From understanding your child… to changing your days together

A Message from Dr. Mayada

My goal is for you to understand your child before you try to change their behavior

I know how exhausting it can be when you repeat instructions, try one approach after another, and the situation still ends in tension, or you feel you haven’t reached your child the way you want to.

Sometimes what we see as stubbornness or lack of cooperation has distraction, impulsivity, difficulty regulating emotions, or simply a need for a different kind of guidance and support behind it.

That’s why I designed this program: to help you see the situation from your child’s point of view, understand what lies behind their behavior, and then choose simple, realistic steps you can apply at home and in your daily life.

I won’t give you a perfect recipe, and I won’t ask you to become a “different parent.” Together, we’ll look for what suits your child, your family, and your daily routine.

My goal is for the journey to end with you feeling less confused in difficult moments and better able to make a calm, clear decision about what your child needs in that moment

Frequently Asked Questions

Before you decide… here’s what you may want to know

We’ve gathered the key questions about the sessions, how the practice works, and what you’ll get, so you can decide with clarity and confidence.

Is the training live or recorded?

The program is live and interactive, not a recorded course. It includes two live sessions with Dr. Mayada, followed by 21 days of hands-on practice, and then a group session for follow-up and to discuss experiences and questions.

The live sessions are designed to give parents a safe space to understand, share, and ask questions, so recordings are not available after they end.

Do the sessions have fixed times?

Yes, the live sessions are held at set times announced after registration, and you’ll receive the session confirmation and attendance link by email or WhatsApp.

After the two sessions, the 21-Day Journey: From Understanding to Practice begins, and each day you’ll receive short content and a simple practical step to try, with follow-up in the journey’s private group.

At the end of the 21 days, we meet in a live group follow-up session to review what worked for you, discuss challenges, and identify the steps you can continue after the program.

Does my child need to be diagnosed with ADHD?

No, a formal diagnosis is not required to take part in the program.
You can join whether your child has already been diagnosed with ADHD, or if you notice recurring challenges with attention, impulsivity, emotional regulation, and daily routines and want to understand and handle them more mindfully.

The program focuses on understanding behavior and trying practical strategies in daily life, not on diagnosing the child.

The program is educational and supportive for parents, and it is not an assessment, a diagnosis, or a substitute for consulting a specialist when needed

Is this program right for my family?

This program is right for you if you feel you’re trying hard with your child, but some everyday situations are still exhausting: repeating instructions, homework, getting ready to go out, screens, tantrums, or difficulty moving from one activity to another.

Your child may have been diagnosed with ADHD, or you may still be trying to understand what’s going on. Either way, you’ll find a space that helps you understand your child more deeply, see the situation from a different angle, and try practical steps that suit your daily life.

This program doesn’t ask you to be perfect, or to change everything at once. We’ll start with small steps that help you feel less confused, and calmer and more confident in how you handle difficult situations.

What language is the program taught in?

The program is taught entirely in Arabic.

Can I get a refund?

You can request a full refund within 24 hours of attending the first session if you find the program isn’t right for you. After that period, fees are not refundable. Details are in our Refund Policy.
