Prof: Marwan Dwairy, D.Sc., is a Palestinian full professor of psychology in Oranim Academic College. He is a licensed expert and supervisor in three areas: educational, medical, and developmental psychology. In addition, he is a licensed clinical psychologist. He served as a professor in several universities: Graduate program at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. He has done much cross-cultural research on identity, individuation, parenting, and mental health in western and eastern countries. He is a reviewer for tens of academic journals and served on the editorial board of Clinical Psychology Review and edited a special issue (December 1999) for that journal devoted to “cross-cultural psychotherapy in the Middle East. He has published several books, book chapters and encyclopedias, and articles in cross-cultural psychology and mental health among Arabs in which he presented his models and theories concerning culturally sensitive psychology. In 2008 he was nominated among the “most ten productive researchers” worldwide in multicultural psychology. Base on a Stanford University report in 2021 he was nominated “between the best 2% researchers worldwide.
